As I set out to write CubeTangular, I found myself reflecting on my years as a fourth and fifth-grade teacher—days filled with lesson plans that reached beyond individual subjects and aimed to shape the whole child. At the heart of my teaching philosophy is a deep belief: creativity should be nurtured not only in classrooms, but also around kitchen tables, where meaningful family connections are made.

I created CubeTangular with both educators and families in mind—families like yours, who treasure those magical moments of learning woven into everyday life. I still remember reading to our children before bed, and how those simple stories sparked big imaginations.

Before long, they were reading to my wife Michelle and me, and those moments became treasures of our family story.

This book is a blend of storytelling, art, writing, character development, and a touch of math & science—all woven into one colorful and meaningful narrative.
